Mice with your rice?

So I sit down to eat with the other teachers at work and open my lunch, a delicious stew my mom had made the night before. I'm one of the first in the room and I wait to join the conversation of the day.
Jan Hernandez, one of the teachers I work for, comes to sit next to me and put down her lunch bag. Next thing I know I see her yanking her hand out of the bag in fright as something gray and small is jumping towards me! Of course I let out a squeak to rival that of the mouse's and hurriedly climbed on top of the table.
I don't know why I did this. I mean I had put up with mice on my mission. I am such a wimp! Let's hope this is the last mouse I have to deal with (although I seriously doubt this).

The Work still goes forth.

I was at my mission reunion when one of the sisters that had served there after I left the mission came up to me. She had served in one of my areas and wanted me to know that one of the people I had taught but given up on, had been baptized. I guess he had just not been ready while I was there. It is nice to know that the work still goes forth with or without you. I just hope I can continue to help it do so.
